The Beginning

Troubador has been born out of a problem that I would like to solve for myself, first.
When I go anywhere outside of my home city, I don't have an instrument to play. Often, when I'm traveling, I feel really inspired to play music and have time to do it but no access to an instrument without the hassle and risk of lugging my guitar with me wherever I go. Therefore, with Troubador, I'd like to make any instrument available for any musician worldwide. Every village on this planet has a guitar or some instrument in someones house collecting dust and a lonely musician walking down the street totally unaware the he or she could be playing, even on the road. |
It's not only about renting instruments, though. It's about the community. Troubadors values are community, sharing, respect, and being open.
So I encourage anyone that joins the community to think about jamming with your renter/rentee, invite them for a cup of tea, talk about music, and most of all be good to each other. - Griffin Trent |
